DevFest is the largest non-profit conference focusing on software developers, engineers, and software industry in general. DevFest Egypt is organised by GDGs, local groups of developers interested in Google products and open-source technologies, from different areas around the country.
The book titled, “In the Shoes of the Other: Interdisciplinary Essays in Translation from Cairo,” is edited by the veteran translator Samia Mehrez, the founding director of the Center for Translation Studies at AUC.
We aim to collect $100m (EGP 1.6bn) and $85m of them were collected this year.

“This year was productive. While we celebrated the AUC’s centennial, we stressed on a number of messages, including education quality that got us our international accreditation,” said AUC President Francis J. Ricciardone.

The AUC ranked in the 191-200 range, moving up from its 201-250 range last year.
The conference brought into focus the vital contributions of women leaders in economic growth across the MENA states, and the importance of supporting their development in key positions in public institutions and companies, which is a key national priority in Egypt.
