Hazem El-Tahawy, chairperson of Eitesal, said the technology has become intertwined in all sectors and fields, especially in light of the country's political leadership's interest in digital transformation projects.

Egyptian Information, Telecommunications, Electronics, and Software Alliance (Eitesal) and the Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (EBA) signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday to unify their efforts to serve the members of their societies, who are also a part of the Egyptian private sector, to contribute to the societal development in Egypt.

The two associations agreed to carry out joint activities to serve their members in several fields, including innovation, entrepreneurship, and building technological capabilities of members in areas of advanced technology such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, natural language processing, and the Internet of the things, according to a press statement issued by Eitesal.

Etisal will become the main technological arm of the EBA and will work through its member companies to meet all the needs of the members of the Association.

Moreover, Ali EIssa, chairperson of the EBA, said it was agreed that the activities of each association should extend to the members of the other association, starting by organising joint activities and conferences for the associations, while Eitesal provides modern methods and technological systems to serve the various industries represented by the EBA.
