Orange’s TV commercial outperformed ads by the other telecommunications companies, according to the opinions of participants in a survey conducted by E3langi, which found that viewers see Orange’s ad as the best.
According to the results, Orange received a voting percentage of 54% by participants who chose it as the best commercial this year in the telecommunications sector.
Thirty-seven percent voted for Vodafone and 9% for Etisalat. Fifty-eight percent of the participants watched Orange’s ad over six times, 65% remember the ad well, though 54% will not be trying Orange’s offer.
On the other hand, E3langi’s report showed that interaction on Facebook is in favour of Etisalat and exceeded the interaction rates with Vodafone’s ad by 150,000.
Uber’s commercial also captured attention with Mohamed Salah making an appearance. The ad managed to come second in terms of shareability rates. Its interaction rate came second after the Magdi Yacoub Heart Foundation’s ad.
“We believe that all these numbers are organic. The ad is expected to achieve higher rates, taking it to the list of the five most watched ads,” said E3langi’s report.
